Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadi (رحمه الله) said: “There are no authentic narrations to support the Prophet (ﷺ) raised his hands after the prayer for supplication.”[Garatu Al-Ashrata 2/73-74]

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih Al-Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) said: “Nothing authentic has been reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to raise his hands for dua after the obligatory prayers or sunnah prayers.[Fatawa Nur ala Darb # 6322]

Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:There is no saheeh report to say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to raise his hands following an obligatory prayer,

or that his companions (may Allaah have mercy on them) did that, as far as we know. What some people do, raising their hands after the prayer, is a bid’aah (innovation) for which there is no basis.
Al-Fataawa, 1/74.
