If you work hard to achieve your dreams, even baby steps make a huge difference.

A man from Assam has gone viral on social media after he bought a new scooter using a sack full of his savings in coins. The man, a stationary shopkeeper from Barpeta district saved money for several months, and then headed to a showroom with a bag full of coins.

The incident came to light when YouTuber Hirak J Das posted his story on Facebook along with some pictures.

“Today a person bought a scooty with his savings (retail money) at Alpana suzuki dealers of Barpeta. One word can learn from this is that even if it takes a lot of money to fulfill a dream, sometimes it can be fulfilled with a little bit of money,” Das wrote.

The unidentified shopkeeper claimed that he began setting aside some change for about seven to eight months to fulfil his dream of buying a two-wheeler. Once he had enough money, he visited a scooter showroom at Howly to buy the vehicle.

Das posted a video in which three men are seen carrying a sack full of coins inside the showroom.

The money was transferred into plastic baskets after which the staff counted it. The video ends with the shopkeeper signing the papers and collecting the keys of the scooter.
