MULTAN:Girl students excelled in the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) BA, BSc annual examinations 2017, grabbing top positions in both arts and science groups.
In the BSc examination, Beenish Iqbal of Punjab Group of Colleges bagged first position by securing 723 marks while Sundus Fatima stood second with 722 marks. The third position was bagged by Syeda Amina Batool of City College, Multan with 707 marks.

In BA exams, Muhammad Abdullah secured first position by achieving 651 marks. Iram Mukhtiar of Government Degree College, Jalalpur Peerwala bagged second position with 641 marks, while Ziaur Rahman stood third with 638 marks.
At least 47,170 candidates appeared in the exams and of them, 18,633 cleared all the papers. In addition, 338 cases of using unfair means were reported during the examination. The success ratio remained 39.5%.
