In a remote village of an Arab tribe, lived a non-Muslim woman named Fatima. She hailed from a Hindu background, and her entire family had settled in the land of Sham (Syria). Fatima was married to a successful businessman, known for his extensive trade in spices. Her husband was a shrewd entrepreneur, while she actively assisted him in managing the business. Little did Fatima know that her life was about to take a remarkable turn, all thanks to Surah Al-Fatiha.
The Revelation of Surah Al-Fatiha
One day, Fatima overheard a conversation about the last Prophet of Allah in the holy city of Mecca. It was said that a Surah called Al-Fatiha had been revealed to him, a Surah that held the power to cure every ailment. Those who recited it or blew upon someone with faith in their hearts would witness miraculous recoveries. Fatima’s curiosity was piqued, and she decided to learn more about this Surah.
Regardless of her religious background, Fatima believed in the divine power of Allah, and she resolved to discover the truth behind Surah Al-Fatiha. She learned the Surah and its translation, and her eyes filled with tears as she recited it. Whenever she recited this Surah, she saw her troubled circumstances miraculously improve. It was as though Allah Himself was answering her prayers through the Surah.
A Mother’s Desperation
One fateful day, tragedy struck. Fatima’s young son was bitten by a venomous snake, and the local healers and doctors declared his condition critical. They admitted their helplessness, citing the deadly nature of the snake’s venom. The distraught mother, in desperation, sought help from her husband’s friends and associates, but to no avail.
The situation seemed dire, and Fatima’s heart ached. She remembered the healing power of Surah Al-Fatiha and wondered if reciting it over her son could save his life. She decided to place her faith in Allah’s words and recited the Surah while blowing on her son’s wound.
Miraculously, her son’s pain began to subside, and his condition improved rapidly. It was a sight to behold as the young boy stood up as if he had never been bitten. Fatima’s husband, who had initially scoffed at her faith, was astounded by the miraculous recovery.
