A renowned businessman of Faisalabad, Sheikh Danish has allegedly abducted, harassed and tortured a medical student namely Khadija after she rejected his marriage proposal.
The video of torturing and humiliating the medical student, Khadija, was also put on social media allegedly by the Faisalabad businessman, Sheikh Danish.
It emerged that the residents of University Town, Khadija and her brother were abducted by a group of men after she refused a marriage proposal. The video showed that the girl was brutally tortured by the accused who later trimmed her hair while physically abusing he
A case was lodged at the local police station over the complaint of the girl. According to reports, overall 16 persons including women were nominated in the abduction, torture and harassment case under different sections.
While taking action, Faisalabad police also arrested six accused in the case.
Punjab police said on Twitter, “Faisalabad police arrested six accused for torturing and humiliating a woman. A special team constituted by the CPO Faisalabad made the arrests immediately through modern technology.
