Governor Najmuddin Ayub refused to marry until he was old enough.
One day his brother Asaduddin Sher Koh told him.
“Brother! Why don’t you marry?”
Najmuddin replied.
“I don’t think anyone is worthy of me.”
Assadin said this.
“I want a relationship for you?”
“Whose?”
“Malik Shah bin Sultan Mohammad bin Malik Shah, daughter of Saljuqi or daughter of Minister Alamk ..
Najmuddin heard this.
“He’s not worth me …
Assadin was shocked.
“Then who would fit you?”
Najmuddin replied.
“I want a good wife who will hold my hand and lead me to paradise and from this I will have a son who will train me well, be a king and take back the Qibla of Muslims.”
Asaduddin did not like Najmuddin’s words and said.
“Where do you find such a girl?”
Najmuddin replied.
“If you are sincere in your intentions, then Allah will do good.”
Upon hearing this, Asaduddin quietly began to taunt him.
One day, Najmuddin was sitting near a sheikh of Tikrit in the mosque. A girl came and called Sheikh from behind the scenes.
Sheikh apologized to Najmuddin for talking to the girl. Najmuddin heard what the Sheikh was saying to the girl.
Sheikh told the girl.
“Why did you reject the boy I sent to ….?”
“O our Sheikh and Mufti! That boy was really good-natured, but not worthy of me.
The Sheikh said in surprise.
“What do you mean … What do you want?”
“Sheikh! I need a boy who will hold my hand and lead me to paradise and let him give me a son who is a king and takes back the Qibla of the Muslims ….”
Najmuddin was surprised, because what he thought, this girl was also thinking.
Najmuddin, who had ruined the relations of the rulers and ministers’ daughters, told the sheikh.
“Get this girl married me ….”
“This is the girl from the poorest family in the neighborhood
On hearing this, Najmuddin said.
“That’s what I want.”
Then Najmuddin married this poor pious girl, and by this he was born ShahSawar, which the world is known as “Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi.”
