A vegetable like okra or ladyfinger is cooked in almost every home and everyone cooks it in their own way and it is loved by many people but do you know that apart from being used in food it is also used as a tip to straighten curly hair? Often we have seen people whose hair is so curly that they are worried and can’t straighten it even after trying a million tricks, but okra/ladyfinger is very useful for them. Along with straightening them, it also makes them stronger. It also helps to thicken your hair if it has been damaged by the use of chemicals and by hair dryers, straighteners, and various types of styling.
How to Make Keratin Using Okra or Ladyfinger
Take six to eight large okra/ladyfinger, cut them and put water in a pan, and cook it on low heat. When the water starts to turn into a gel, take it off and grind this gel-like mixture along with the okra. Then strain it with a clean cloth. Then mix a spoonful of cornflour in water and add it to this gel-like okra strained mixture and again put it in the pan and cook it a little. When the mixture becomes creamy, remove it and add a little coconut in it. Add coconut oil and sweet almond oil and this will make okra/ladyfinger keratin.
