I remember reading a book as a child (so during the 1990s). It was about a girl that brewed a potion in her back garden and when she drank it she was transported to a different world. She wasn’t a witch or anything, just a normal girl who discovered this drink that would transport her.
I remember being very scared of the book as a child but found it really intriguing. I also remember wolves in the book, and I have a feeling the more she drank the potion th more wolf-like she became until she became stuck in the other world.
That’s pretty much all I remember – but worth a shot! It has been nearly twenty years since I must have read the book but it has always stayed with me.
