One study published on the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health revealed those who took apple cider vinegar lost more weight than those who did not.
Of the 144 obese adults who participated, having one tablespoon a day helped dieters drop 2.6 pounds over a 12 week period. Those who had two tablespoons a day lost an impressive 3.7 pounds over the time period and reduced body fat percentage by 0.9 percent.
Another study showed participants who drank apple cider vinegar with a high-carb meal consumed 200 to 275 fewer calories that day. Sipping on the drink each day could be enough to notice weight loss results, nutritionist at OSU, Lily Soutter, explained.
She said: “Studies show that enjoying a daily dose of apple cider vinegar alongside a balanced diet may help you to reach your weight loss goals. “This may be due to apple cider vinegar’s rich content of acetic acid which is responsible for its characteristic tangy flavor.” The drink has reduced body fat and most apple cider vinegar products do not contain many calories.
