In this world, everyone has wisdom. Why do I say this? Because there are two kinds of people on this earth – believers in Christ Jesus and unbelievers. The Spirit of Christ lives in each child of God (Romans 8:9). And if the Bible speaks of Christ being the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3, 1 Corinthians 1:24), then it means all Christians have the wisdom of God in them
(and vice versa for unbelievers). That’s wonderful. Right? But just because Christ loves in a person doesn’t mean he’s manifesting the ways of God in all his life endeavours. Today, I want you to learn about seven characteristics of divine wisdom. I believe that knowing the features of God’s wisdom helps you evaluate your life so as to note and work on every area of your life that is not manifesting Christ.
These seven characteristics of divine wisdom are enlisted in James 3:17. Before I speak about each of them, let’s read the scripture.
1. Pure
The word “pure,” used in the above verse, has two meanings. One means “affirmation,” and the other means “sacred or venerable.” God’s wisdom affirms what is truth without any iota of doubt or error. I don’t know who you’ve listened to that said there are errors in the Bible. But as for me, once it’s God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16), it’s errorless. Why? Because God is flawless. If you have any area of your life flawed, go back and study the Word and practise it. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
