As we navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing world, one trait stands out as essential to achieving success. Resilience is the ability to keep going despite failures, humiliation, defeats, ridicule, rejection, and unbearable pain. All great achievers exhibit resilience in abundance.
Imran Khan, the former Pakistani cricketer turned politician, is someone with incredible resilience. His whole life is an endearing example of resilience. This powered Imran to the pinnacle of success in four different areas: cricket, hospital, university, and politics.
In an interview, Imran Khan said:
“It’s not defeat that destroys you, it’s being demoralised by the defeat which destroys you, and never give up, no matter how hard life gets, no matter how much pain you feel. Pain will eventually subside, nothing remains for ever, so keep going and don’t give up”. Imran Khan
