Masjid al-haram the grand mosque in Makkah has a total of 210 gates out of which 5 gates are the most famous one. All the gates are named after the significant people, places or incidents that occurred in history.Some of the gates have digital information boards for the pilgrims to guide them. Abdul Aziz (Gate 1)This gate is located at the Yemenite corner of Masjid Al-haram. This gate has been recently reconstructed and has given a more modern look to its predecessor.If you enter through this gate, you will have to cross Mataaf for wheelchair pilgrims before entering the Mataaf for normal people.
Bab e Ajyad (Gate 5)
Bab e Ajyad is gate no 5 which is located on the northern side of Masjid e Haram.
Bab e Bilal (Gate 6)
Located on the southern side of the Masjid al-Haram. We can easily understand that it is named after Bilal ibn Rabah رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ, the first Muezzin of Islam.
