When the princess finally approached a prince who had a majestic beard, she couldn’t help but giggle. His facial hair amused her greatly. Little did she know, this prince would be the one to change her life forever.
The king, witnessing his daughter’s disrespectful behavior towards the suitors, made an unexpected announcement. The wanderer positioned himself near a window, beneath the grandeur of the palace. He began to sing, his voice filling the air and capturing the attention of the king and princess. The king ordered a servant to bring the beggar inside. As he entered, the wanderer presented himself with grace and humility, earning the admiration of the king.
The king was pleased and decided to reward the wanderer for his beautiful song. He offered his daughter’s hand in marriage as a token of his gratitude. When the princess heard this, her heart sank. She realized that the man she had mocked would become her husband.
