In a video circulating on social media, four people embraced Islam during the lecture of Islamic preacher Dr. Zakir Naik in Qatar. Qatar has invited Zakir Naik to preach Islam on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup 2022. He will give sermons and lectures throughout the world cup tournament and reports several social media posts.
“Preacher Sheikh Zakir Naik is present in Qatar during the World Cup and will give many religious lectures throughout the tournament.” Says Faisal Alhajri the sports anchor in Qatar.
A picture of Dr. Zakir Naik being received in Qatar also went viral on social media. According to Indian media, Zakir Naik is a fugitive who is accused of money laundering and hate speech in India. India also banned his organization Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation.
